Here is an advertisement for the new Nissan Leaf, electric car.



It is an attractive advertisement that is cleverly aimed at the environmentally conscious market.

The hard headed questions are: "What is the point of an electric car if it gets its electricity from coal fired power stations? Surely it is just swapping one form of carbon emission for another?"
