Keynote Speakers
The first speaker, Denny Ellerman, makes reference to the title at the beginning of his talk.
Ellerman is a leading energy economist and is recognised internationally as an authority on emissions trading and coal economics. He spent 13 years as Executive Director of MIT's Center for Energy and Environment Policy Research and 18 years with the US Government. (source: The Deakins 2010 puclicity brochure).
The second speaker is Richard Folland, Managing Director of Climate Strategies, a UK based international research organisation. Richard previously worked for the British Foreign and Commonwealth Ofice on environment policy and was an advisor on climate and energy at JP Morgan.
